Hey there! Welcome! My name is Anna and I’m thrilled to have you here at Back To The Countryside!
So I’m going to tell you a little about myself, but chances are if you follow my blog, you may know me a little better than just from this bio!
My heart and passion is everything to do with the outdoors, besides the ocean, I’m terrified of the ocean (Don’t judge me!).
I come from a small, charming, heartwarming farmtown in Michigan where my heart will always reside.
I grew up in a 150+ year old beautiful farmhouse with acres of hayfields. My neighbors all had farm animals that I’d spend most of my time roaming with and learning how to tend to.
Everyone knew eachother by name, drove slow as on the roads, and waved as they passed your home since most of us were outside either with the animals or hanging out on the front porch.
Learning to hunt, fish, and cook was something my parents taught my siblings and I as it was a big thing where we came from, so I still enjoy that and spend a lot of my time doing so.
When the economy got really rough, unfortunately my parents decided to move. Moving us to Arizona.
Arriving in Arizona, I met my husband, we got married, had our son, and then he recieved a job offer and we then moved to Colorado.
My Family Now
I have a tough little boy, a husband, two dogs, and a flock of chickens.
I currently live in Colorado, very close to the Rocky Mountains. I often spend my time venturing through them, with my husband and backpacking my son, finding streams to fish for trout.
My goal is to find somewhere to start a farm for my family. I’m on a mission, to go back to the countryside.
